Breckenridge Trip

 

Another trip to Breckenridge Colorado with Mom and Dad. We visited The Troll, had pizza at the best Vegan Slice in Town, rented the Private Movie Theatres, Rode the Gondola. A kid can only do so much before nap time.

BLT and Me

Although it looks like I'm having the sickest solo rave party in the city, I'm actually receiving a vital therapy for what's called "hyperbilirubinemia" aka Jaundice.

Its caused when my liver breaks down my red blood cells but doesnt flush out the byproducts quick enough leaving the resulting yellow pigmentation to affect my skin and eyes.

Its pretty common in Preemie's like me, and usually resolves on its own. But blue light therapy is one of the most common treatments to accelerate recovery. Lucky for me, my condition cleared within 48 hours of my treatment.

Now I'm back to being my gorgeous self; jaundice free!
